KGLC is an Approved Member of the Outdoor Industries Association and supports the association's Code of Practice designed to ensure that you, the customer, can be sure of the highest standards of advice and service in all of your dealings with us.
The aims and objectives of the Code of Practice are to ensure that:
Advertising and prices
All advertising is clear and honest and that full information is available about the goods, services, prices charged and credit facilities available.
Information and advice
Customers are given the best possible advice, bearing in mind the suitability of goods for the purpose for which they are bought, including advice on general care of the goods.
Orders and repairs
Orders are acknowledged and realistic delivery/repair dates are given and adhered to.
Staff
Staff have received appropriate training and offer high standards of customer service. All transactions are conducted in accordance with the law and that the rights of the consumer and obligations of the retailer are made known.
Complaints
All problems or complaints are dealt with courteously and efficiently. In the rare event that problems cannot be resolved between the customer and the Approved Member the customer may refer the matter, in writing, directly to the Outdoor Industries Association at the following address:
